Cultural Four-Day Event of the Agricultural University of Athens

Remaining faithful to their annual tradition, the Cultural Groups of the Agricultural University of Athens organized and presented their diverse artistic and cultural initiatives with great success and strong attendance from both members of the University community and the wider public. This year’s four-day cultural event took place in the courtyard of the Agricultural Museum of the Agricultural University of Athens from Friday 22 to Monday 25 May 2026. The event was organized with the support of the Department of Student and Social Welfare of the Directorate of Internationalization, Mobility and Student Welfare of the Agricultural University of Athens.
A four-day celebration full of art, creativity, and culture unfolded through a series of events that included activities by the Visual Arts Group, theatrical performances by the theatre groups “PROVAta” and “THEATROKTONOI,” musical performances by the Music Workshop, as well as traditional dances presented by the Traditional Dance Group.
More specifically:
- The Visual Arts Group of AUA, “AuArt”, presented the art installation “Articulatio”, featuring engravings, objects, and collections curated by Evgenia Galanopoulou throughout the four-day event at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Agricultural Museum of AUA “Leonidas Louloudis.”
- The theatre group “PROVAta”, on Friday 22 May, presented the performance “Regulars” directed by Giannis Englezos.
- The theatre group “THEATROKTONOI”, on Monday 25 May, presented the performance “The Inspector General” directed by Konstantinos Tsiougkos.
- The Traditional Dance Group, on Saturday 23 May, presented the dance performance entitled “Our East” under the instruction of Giannis Gousios, member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP).
- The Music Workshop of AUA, on Sunday 24 May, under the musical direction and artistic supervision of Dimitris Mitsotakis, presented the musical evening “For Strange Stories”, featuring songs narrating stories, myths, and personal experiences.
The cultural events were opened by Professor Eleni Miliou, Vice-Rector for the European University, Internationalization and Student Affairs, who expressed her appreciation to all those involved in the performances, as well as to Ms Niki Schina, Director of the Directorate of Internationalization, Mobility and Student Affairs, and Ms Angeliki Matsouki, Head of the Department of Student and Social Welfare.
