The Department is responsible for managing all matters pertaining to the announcement, appointment or recruitment, career advancement, tenure, secondment, and, more broadly, the overall employment status of the Institution’s personnel, across all categories and under any form of employment relationship.

The Department is responsible for formulating proposals regarding the organizational structure of the Institution’s services and the establishment of Councils and Committees, as well as compiling data related to the Institution’s personnel requirements. Additionally, it collects, categorizes, and performs analysis of statistical data.

The Department is responsible for the formation of single-member and collective bodies, as well as for providing secretarial support to the Rectoral Authorities.

The Department is responsible for maintaining the Register of Incoming and Outgoing Correspondence. It ensures the efficient processing and distribution of all correspondence and provides administrative support to all Directorates and Departments.
