The Senate of the Agricultural University of Athens Honors the Memory of the Victims of the Violanta Factory Explosion

(634/27.01.2026), following a relevant proposal by the Rector, observed one minute of silence in memory of the workers who lost their lives in the explosion at the Violanta factory.

The Senate of the Agricultural University of Athens expresses its deep sympathy and solidarity with the families of the victims and shares their grief.

At the same time, it strongly emphasizes that safeguarding the safety and lives of workers constitutes a non-negotiable priority and a fundamental obligation of every organized society.
