International Recognition for Associate Professor Nikolaos G. Kavallieratos of the Agricultural University of Athens by the Scientific Journal Insects.

The internationally recognized entomological journal Insects (Impact Factor: 2.7 – 5-Year Impact Factor: 2.9), ranked in the first quartile (Q1) in the field of Entomology (16th out of 109 journals), has awarded a commendation to Associate Professor Nikolaos G. Kavallieratos for his distinguished contribution as an Editor in supporting and upholding the journal’s high scientific standards.

This recognition acknowledges the academic excellence, consistency, and active participation of Associate Professor Kavallieratos in the peer review and editorial processes of scientific publications, thereby strengthening the international presence of the Greek research community.

Professor Kavallieratos has successfully curated three topical collections in Insects, which have collectively published 79 scientific articles to date:
