Agricultural University of Athens – Meeting of the Project Erasmus+ Microbiome and Stress Resilience Academy (MSRA)

The Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) hosted the transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ project Microbiome and Stress Resilience Academy (MSRA) on February 11 and 12, 2026. The project activities at the Agricultural University of Athens are led by Assistant Professor of Phytopathology Ioannis Stringlis.
Partners from AUA (Greece), AkiNaO (France), Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy), Universidad de Málaga (Spain), and My Training Box (France) came together to review the project’s progress and coordinate upcoming activities. The two-day meeting concluded successfully, confirming the strong collaboration among partners and the high quality of the educational material developed within the project.
Innovative Training on the Role of Microbiomes in Plant Health
MSRA, funded by Agence Erasmus+ France / Education & Formation, develops innovative training on the vital role of microbiomes in plant health and stress resilience.
Training Modules:
1. Introduction to Plant Microbiomes – Core concepts and analysis methods.
2. Microbiomes and Biotic Stress Resilience – Pathogens, disease suppression, and biological control strategies.
3. Microbiomes and Abiotic Stress Tolerance – Climate stresses and microbiome-mediated mitigation.
4. The Contribution of Microbiomes to Agriculture – From laboratory research to field application and regulatory frameworks.
The courses consist of video lectures and podcasts available in five languages (English, Greek, French, Spanish, Italian) and provide certification upon completion. All training courses are freely available online at: www.mygreentrainingbox.com
