Welcome of the Dean of the AUA School of Plant Sciences

I welcome you to the official website of the School of Plant Sciences of the Agricultural University of Athens. The School, established by Law 4589/29.01.2019, consists of two Departments: the Department of Crop Science (based in Athens) and the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management (based in Karpenisi).

The School of Plant Sciences is an academic space that combines knowledge with research and connects education with the needs of society. We strive to provide our students with the tools to develop into capable and responsible scientists, ready to meet the modern challenges related to agriculture, the environment, and sustainable development.

Through the continuous efforts and collaboration of the teaching and administrative staff, the School fosters a supportive and creative environment that promotes academic excellence, innovation, and progress. The path and success of our students are the best indicators of our own success.
