Responsibilities and Duties of the Dean of the School of Animal Biosciences
The Dean of the School of Animal Biosciences:
- convenes the General Assembly (GA) of the School; calls and chairs the meetings of the Council, as well; draws up the Meeting Agenda; names either a General Assembly, or a Council Member, respectively, as a rapporteur of the pertinent agenda items; is in charge of the current state of play and the one to arise, and even more, when the process described, is not always feasible, proposes himself/herself the issues, set by the two aforementioned governing bodies of AUA; takes all the necessary measures for the enforcement of the decisions, made by the General Assembly and the Council, too,
- oversees the implementation of the Regulation of Studies, applicable in the Departments of the particular School, in addition to the compliance with the Law in force, the Organisation and the Internal Regulation, as a whole,
- directs the Dean's Office Services,
- constitutes and organises ad hoc committees, to deal with specific issues, within his/her own scope,
- participates in the Institution’s Committee, regarding Postgraduate Studies.
