The Agricultural University of Athens, as a member and coordinator of the project "Blue Career Centre for Aquaculture Education supported by a gamification approach and distance learning platform (BlueAquaEdu)", invites you to the Summer School in Aquaculture with emphasis on cage farming dedicated to exploring career paths and opportunities in the thriving field of aquaculture.

This unique four-day program combines fundamental science, behavioral skills, and business development to equip participants with the tools needed for a successful professional future, while also raising awareness of the vital role of blue professions in society.
Focusing on cage aquaculture and the post-harvest value chain, the program also offers valuable insights into hatcheries, Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), and by-product valorization—providing a comprehensive overview of the full aquaculture production cycle.
The Summer School includes two days of interactive teaching and two days of field visits, ensuring a hands-on experience that connects theoretical knowledge with real-world practice and industry standards.

The BlueAquaEdu project is being implemented under the EMFAF-2023-BlueCareers, it is co funded by the European Union under agreement ID 101124699 and aims to enhance blue skills in aquaculture. The project promotes the connection between education and industry, enhancing the skills required to build sustainable careers in the aquaculture sector and contributing to initiatives such as the European Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy.
