Summary The interactive small group workshop aims to present the personal study method regarding the neurobiology of memory. On a theoretical level we will discuss issues related to the neurobiology of memory. The question is examined whether it is a separate mental ability or is an auxiliary function of other mental processes. Neuroscientists began to study the problem of mental processes of generalization, attention, object permanence, consolidation since the 1950s. They pointed out that it is a function of specific brain systems where memory processes are located in the taking up and processing of mental projects. On a practical level, we work with exercises to realize the personal study method in distance teaching focusing on memory techniques regarding generalization, broadening of attention, permanence of the cognitive object and consolidation of knowledge.
