Welcome day for Erasmus students

The Agricultural University of Athens welcomed the incoming Erasmus students on the 3rd of March. Twenty nine students in all will spend spring semester in our University. They come from partner Universities at France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Latvia, Romania, Germany, Cyprus, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Austria.

After the enrolment procedure, the Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, Professor Nicholas Dercas, Vice Rector of AUA addressed a short greeting to the students.

Then, the European Programmes’ Office provided practical guidance to the students about the paperwork and various issues relevant to their studies at AUA.

The ESN AUA Athens presented briefly all ESN activities. Special information was given about the upcoming national event organized by the ESN Greece that will take place at Crete Island in May. Finally, ESN AUA members and newcomers had lunch at a Greek traditional tavern

It is worth mentioning that ESN AUA Athens organized and implemented a series of events for the Erasmus students in order to get to know each other and for their better integration into the AUA student community (Karaoke Night with songs in different languages, Board Games evening and visit at National Observatory).
