Construction of a model Hall of Residence of the Agricultural University of Athens over the City Park of the Fyli Municipality.

Today, on Wednesday February 22 2023, the Rector of the Agricultural University of Athens, Mr Spyridon Kintzios welcomed at the Rectorate of the Agricultural University of Athens the Mayor of Fyli Municipality, Mr Christos Pappous. The Vice Rector for the European University, Internationalization and Student Affairs, Ms Helen Miliou, Professor, the Vice Rector for Academic and Administrative Affairs, Lifelong Learning and Extroversion, Mr Emmanouil Flemetakis, Professor and the Deputy Head of the Directorate of Finance, Ms Mary Fragiskou gave their presence at the meeting.

Shortly after the meeting, the Rector of the Agricultural University of Athens announced the creation of a Student Residence over the City Park of the Fyli Municipality. The Rector Mr Kintzios has stated that: “A decades-long target is being accomplished: Today an agreement was achieved with the Mayor of the Fyli Municipality Christos Pappous, upon the construction of  a model Hall of Residence of the Agricultural University of Athens at the City Park of the Fyli Municipality. A new page has launched for the AUA Student Community and local society, too”.
