Seminar “Novel approach aiming to improve resilience of tomato to multiple stress in the era of climate change”
The Laboratory of Vegetable Production, AUA is pleased to invite you to the open day seminar “Novel approach aiming to improve resilience of tomato to multiple stress in the era of climate change”. The seminar is organized in collaboration with the European research project “TOMRES”. Presenters will be internationally recognized researchers from around the world, aiming to inform the community about important issues affecting the Science of Vegetable Production.
Presentations will be in English. Participants will receive certification of attendance.
Scope of the TOMRES project
The overall goal of TOMRES is to enhance resilience to combined water and nutrient stress in tomato and to maximize water (WUE) and nutrient use efficiency (NUE) by designing and testing in the field (open and protected) novel combinations of genotypes and management practices reducing the environmental impact of agricultural activities.
