Meeting for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Agricultural University of Nitra of the Slovak Republic and the Agricultural University of Athens

On Monday, the 16thof December 2019, a meeting was held for signing a Memorandum of Understanding, between the Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) of the Slovak Republic and the Agricultural University of Athens. The Vice-Rector of Strategic Development, Mr. Drahoslav Lancaric on the part of the Nitra Agricultural University, and the Rector of the Agricultural University of Athens, Mr. Spyridon Kintzios, met to discuss the potential educational and research partnerships to be set up in the framework of an Αcademic Cooperation between the two Universities.
            Based on the initiative of the Rector of the Agricultural University of Athens, the meeting took place, at the Rectorate of the Agricultural University of Athens, by the presence of the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, Mrs Iveta Hricova. On behalf of the Agricultural University of Athens, the Vice-Rector of Finance, Planning and Development, Mr. Iordanis Chatzipavlidis, and the Vice-Rector of Administrative Affairs, Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Mr. Nikolaos Dercas, attended the meeting, as well. Such a collaboration will, in all likelihood, lay the foundations for the prospects for a fruitful partnership, between the two Universities. Indeed, this action, will in turn, strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries, too.
The encounter of the two parts, took place in a warm and pleasant atmosphere, in which the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, Mrs Iveta Hricova and the Vice-Rector of the Nitra Agricultural University, Mr. Drahoslav Lancaric, had the opportunity to show themselves around the University premises, such as the Agricultural Museum, the Laboratory of Applied Hydrobiology, and the Library,  accompanied by the Rector, Mr Spyridon Kintzios, and the Vice-Rector,  Mr. Nikolaos Dercas.
