11th International Hydrogeological Congress of Greece "Protection of Aquifers, Vulnerability and Mitigation Measures"
The Hellenic Committee of Hydrogeology is organizing the 11th Ιnternational Hydrogeological Congress of Greece, signifying the diachronic interest of the scientific community over the last 17 years with more than 800 per review publications.
Our era is characterized by the extensive generation of new scientific knowledge supported by new technological aspects. This need regarding Hydrogeological and Geoenvironmental topics is covered by the current scientific Congress that occurs every three years. In addition, due to its international participation, the Congress offers the opportunity for strengthening the relationship among the Greek and the International scientific community.
The goal of the 11th Congress is the multidisciplinary study of the Geoenvironment with emphasis on the protection of aquifers, their vulnerability and mitigation measures. The discussion and conclusions resulting from the 11th International Congress of Hydrogeology are expected to enrich our knowledge and establish the role of the hydrogeologist to the society.
The 11th International Hydrogeological Congress of Greece will be held in Athens, in the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece, October 4-6, 2017.
